LCHS Mascot – Nubis Finds a Home

Nubis is considered our first Shelter Mascot- he was one of our longest “guests”. We are excited to update Nubis’ status to “Adopted”.

My Find, My Bone...I'm the Dog!

He was adopted by a fellow who had previously adopted our other longtimer – a dog that had been in the shelter for 2 yrs, 2 months, and 2 days. Nubis wasn’t there nearly that long, but he was our longtimer and now he has a great home where he gets to go for a daily walk, and eat burgers and kibble.

Ever hear the saying - got her by the seat of her pants?

Nubis - what about me? I am up for mascot title.

Nubis is a great reminder that it is never too late to find a home for a homeless pet and by giving our shelter guests a chance we have been successful placing pets into their forever homes – even if they stay awhile with us first!

I am Nubis, I was the mascot for LCHS until a better offer came along.
